About This Blog
This is a community effort to help further the ongoing education of professionals and hobbyists interested in shooting HD video with Canon's line of professional DSLR's. Namely the Canon 5D MarkII and the recently released Canon 7D. We will also feature work by users of these cameras to give them exposure and to create a place to be inspired by others. This is a friendly effort so if all you bring to the table is negativity kindly go somewhere else. For all suggestions for article topics or if you have an article or film you would like to have published here please send all info to jonjconnor@gmail.com or send me a tweet at @jonconnorfilms

golden. i happen to think this is one of the funniest things about shooting with a dslr. and when people hold a pose for close to a minute.
Thanks for posting that Cristina. My 15 seconds of fame has to be one where I'm drinking a girly drink. Only thing I'm missing is the little umbrella. LMAO
We many many shots of people posing. After a year and a half of shooting exclusively with DSLERs, now we just give the thumbs up and a wink to the subjects, letting them know we got the shot. Then we roll some more to get the shot we REALLY wanted. Long lenses are certainly better for these shots.
See everyone in Philly next month!
oh. people holding the pose is to die for. Its so funny to be shooting. I use a Manfrotto Fig Rig at work and even then people still freeze when i approach them! Im glad you posted this, we all have had a great time watching it.
@Dave you are right about the long lenses!
I love it. I had this happen to me at a wedding I was photographing. The groom was waiting for the flash and I was laughing so hard. I finally told him I was shooting video.
Excellent! It happens all the time!
